Proverbs 17:1-28
TODAY'S RHEMA
Proverbs 17:24 "A discerning person keeps wisdom in view, but a fool's eyes wander to the ends of the earth."
On one rainy day, a woman heard someone said "What an annoying weather it is!" She looked out of her office window and saw a fat big Robin bird using a puddle as his bathtub. Robin the Big Bird was playing water and flapping his wings happily and really enjoyed his time. The woman thought: "Annoying? It is just a matter of point of view". This story was the lesson that Lincoln Steffens remembered when he was a child. He paid attention to the painter who painted a muddy landscape. He said to the painter that he didn't like that painting because there's so much mud. The painter admitted there's so much mud in the painting but what he saw was the beautiful colors and the contrast between the brightness and the darkness.
A muddy painting or a beautiful painting? Which one do we search in walking in this life? If we search for the mud and the flaw, we will find them. However, the painter can find the beauty in the muddy river. When we look for it, we will find it too. It's a certain thing. Which one is possibly true? There's no exact benchmark; it depends on us whether we like or dislike in evaluating a certain condition.
In life, we often times, come across to what is annoying to us. They cause us to grumble. Why? Because we see by our physical eyes. Now it's time for us to learn to see from the point of view of God and we will see the hand of God works in everything. If we want to be honest, when we see everything the way God sees, we can be thankful because His promise is sure and His guidance is perfect. Moreover, when we accustom to see the way God sees, we pump our faith to be more mature, we can live in the faith dimension and please God. Then God will use us to do incredible things. Amen.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, people who live in a faith dimension can SEE AS GOD SEES.

TODAY'S PRAYER "My Heavenly Father, teach me to always live in the faith dimension so I am able to see the way You see. I trust that if I am with You, I will always be brought from one glory to another glory. In Lord Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
