Darren is a successful contractor who works on a lot of big projects in his city. One time, the housing he built suddenly collapsed and caused many people to be seriously injured. After an investigation, it turned out that the building materials used were not the best quality. Darren's partner corrupted on some of the funding ran away and hid somewhere unknown. Consequently, Darren must bear all the responsibility for all the losses and face heavy charges on his own. Whatever he owned were sold, including the house he lived in with his wife and both of his children. He must also be imprisoned.
When Darren was imprisoned his family and his business partners were mocking his belief in Jesus Christ but his church friends were always comforting and strengthening him. They also prayed and fasted for him. Not long after, Darren's partner who corrupted the fund suddenly surrendered and apologized to him. With his partner confession, Darren was released. Not only that, in a short time, Darren's company that had gone bankrupt now is flooded with orders. The almost impossible event, opened the eyes of his family and friends so that many of them repented.
The way God answered our prayer is sometimes so miraculous. We don't know when and how, but believe, God knows very well what He is doing. Maybe our prayers don't seem to be answered until we think maybe God has forgotten us. Just like what Maria and Marta thought when Lazarus died, that Jesus was late. However, God is actually visiting their lives. Miracles that are far greater than what we think is being done by God. Not only our lives will be totally changed, but also touch the lives of those around us. So that they received freedom, salvation, and repentance. So, be patient. Be diligent, faithful, and well prepared to welcome God's visit that leads us to a higher level. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, God does not only want to bring PHYSICAL FREEDOM but also SPIRITUAL FREEDOM; that is SALVATION and REPENTANCE for many people. APPLICATIONS 1. Have you ever experienced God's visitation? What happened to your life afterward? 2. Why would God want to visit his people? 3. How do you experience God's visitation? Today's Prayer "Lord Jesus, I am waiting for Your visitation in my life. I long for my life to be changed and to be useful for Your kingdom also to be blessings for this world. I believe, Your time is the best. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen. "
