Most of us must have ever heard about the story of Mother Teresa. She began her ministry as a missionary in India in 1948. With no single help from any church or institution, she helped the poor and the starved. Even at one point, she begged for foods and her daily needs. She also tempted to return to her ministry in the monastery, but she was finally survived in her calling. In the year of 1950, she received a permission from the Vatican to start a congregation of diocese, which later turned into Missionaries of Charity. Not just in India, Mother Teresa expanded her reach into Eastern Europe in the 1980s, America, and also Ethiopia, Africa. In her end of life, she was still be used by God to serve the poorest of the poor. Her life brought blessings for million people in the world. Even though she has passed away, she still becomes a blessing to this present day.
Mother Teresa is a perfect figure that God has used more and more until the end of her life. The older she grew, the more God worked upon her that resulting in the greater impact for many people in the world. Not just Mother Teresa, there are plenty of people out there that become God's hand who will do us amazed.
However, how about you? Are you going to just stand in awe? You have to realize that God has a great plan for you. When you are willing to be taken to a higher level, his works will be revealed miraculously in your lives. Do not just give up because of one or two life's obstacles. Let God continue His plan in your lives until the day He calls you to back home. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Brought into the higher level means that God does not stop working in our lives, and even His works will be revealed more in your lives. APPLICATIONS 1. In your opinion, why does God want to bring you to a higher level? 2. What are the things that may hinder God from using you as His instrument? 3. List down your commitments to stay loyal to convince God to use you more and more. TODAY'S PRAYER "Oh God, I want to go to a higher level so I could be Your hand in this broken world. I long that Your work in may is revealed endlessly until my very last breath. I know that You have called me for a great purpose and that I want to finish it according to Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord, I pray. Amen. "
