TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Luke 1:57-79 TODAY'S RHEMA Luke 1:68 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come to His people and redeemed them.
Joni hated Christians for whatever reason. Every time his friends went to church, he often ridiculed and insulted them. He punched those who dared to pray in his sight instantly. Joni did all those even though he was sent to a Christian school by his parents. Until one day, there was a retreat encounter held by the school and he was obliged to go. In the encounter, God had come and touched his heart. Joni felt that his burdens were all lifted up. He felt tremendous relief and extraordinary freedom in his spirit. From that moment on, his life was changed dramatically he would preach the good news of salvation to his unbeliever friends.
The story of Saul was also less or more the same. He oppressed many of the believers those time until God showed Himself and visited him personally, and until God could use him to become His light bearer. Apostle Paul was widely known as the one who gave his life to spread out the gospel of the Kingdom of God. When God encounter one's life, He is more than able to change someone's life 180 degrees. Even an antichrist can be changed to become a great evangelist.
God had promised and made a prophecy through Zachariah, John the Baptist's father, about a great visitation of the Lord. In His visitation, there will be free from all kinds of shackles and chains. Chains of sins, debts, diseases, conflicts, and hatreds will all be broken. Yes, in God's visitation, there will be true freedom. A freedom which will bring our lives to elevate to a higher level, which will also enable us to become His device to bring salvation and victory over many souls for the glory of His Name. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, This is the moment when God shall VISIT you to bring FREEDOM and also GREAT VICTORIES. APPLICATIONS 1. When will you need God's visitation? Why? 2. In your opinion, why do you need God's visitation? 3. What commitment can you take so God's visitation can happen in your lives? Write them down! TODAY'S PRAYER "God, I long for Your to come in my life. Teach me, oh Father God and please take me deeper to enter Your presence, because I want to experience true freedom and healing in You so through my life, many souls shall be saved for Your glory only. In the name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
