Working at a beauty salon was not Evelyn's dream job. Her financial problem forced her to do that. With every passing month, she reluctantly did the job. Working hours felt longer, boring, and tiring. Evelyn was about to give up and go in search of another job. One day, her friend came to the salon for hair treatment. While working on her, Evelyn and her friend talked about many things. Evelyn found out that her friend had a problem with her mom. Feeling sympathy, she gave some advice to her friend. Not long after, her friend told her that she had reconciled with her mom because she took Evelyn's advice. Evelyn was so happy to hear that. She realized that through her job she could be a blessing and spread the good news about Jesus to people in need. She finally found a reason to be passionate about her job and became a beacon of hope to people.
What you're doing today may not be what you dream of. Your being alive is a gift. That you sleep and wake up and can breathe every day is a blessing.
