TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
John 15:9-19

TODAY'S RHEMA
John 15:19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

Everyone in this world will have at least one thing or someone to hate regardless of the reason. When we are lied to, when we are betrayed, when our rights are violated, when others do evil to us, we often keep hatred in our hearts. However, hatred should not take over us. Let us look at Joseph's life. Envy in the heart of his brothers made them consent to kill him. Fortunately, Ruben, Joseph's eldest brother, prevented this evil intention. Although he was not killed, he was sold to the Ishmaelites and taken to Egypt. Long story short, while in Egypt, Joseph experienced many things. Starting from being a slave, slandering was imprisoned, became a ruler, until he reunited with his brothers. As someone who has experienced many bad things due to the treatment of his siblings, it is only natural that Joseph would hate them. Unexpectedly, Joseph loved them still, he went as far as inviting them to enjoy the abundance of Egypt.

Joseph was not the only one who freed himself from the bondage of hatred. David was also able to free himself from the hatred of Saul and Absalom. Paul was able to free himself from the hatred of the soldiers who had imprisoned him and put chains on his feet. All these people's lives is a witness to how the Lord can use anyone who surrenders their lives to Him.

If you are currently harboring hatred against a person, immediately ask God for forgiveness. Make a commitment to stop hating. Hate-bound people will not grow. On the contrary, a person who is free from hatred will always be at the forefront to be blessed and used by God extraordinarily. If Joseph, David, and Paul could break free from hatred and experience a great life with God, we too can.
