TODAY'S RHEMA Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
"I don't understand," said the professor of philosophy to his doctor friend. "I have known you for many years and you were saying that Jesus was another legendary story. What has changed you?" The doctor with his smiley face responded: "Friend, if you have students with wrong mindset and perception, what would you do?" The professor said, "As a good professor, obviously I would counsel them." In response, the doctor said, "I am opportune to know the good counselor and He is the Holy Spirit."
Have you wondered why we believe in Jesus whereas we haven't met Him personally, haven't experienced His miracles as well? Why is it only Jesus that we received into our heart while there were other prophets before Jesus who also performed miraculous works, even more, spectacular than Jesus? As the doctor's answer to the story, it's the works of Holy Spirit. When Jesus informed the disciples about His leaving during the last supper, Jesus explained that the spirit of truth would lead and guide them into all truth (John 16:12-15). It's the Holy Spirit who has touched our hearts and has revealed all things about Jesus which we could not comprehend before.
When the Holy Spirit dominates our life, we receive power and become witnesses of Christ to the end of the earth (Acts 1.8). Just like the apostles who performed great exploits when they were filled with the Holy Spirit, we also will experience the same thing. If we long for Jesus to be revealed in our lives, we should be filled with the Holy Spirit first. Through the Holy Spirit, we will experience Jesus' fullness. Everything that comes from Jesus: His works, His wisdom and His character will manifest for real in your life.
