TODAY'S RHEMA Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
The condition at home drove Patricia, there was no harmony and she couldn't stay any longer. Every morning, she woke up early to leave for work. She preferred to arrive at work earlier than the operational hour and stayed back late before going home. For her, the workplace was a gateway; a gateway from the endless dispute of her parents. She was tired; she tried everything she could to broker peace between her parents, but her efforts didn't yield anything.
Until one day, her colleague at work invited her to attend the revival service at church and since she avoided going home early, she accepted her friend's invitation to attend the revival service. Unexpectedly, that night became a turning point in her life. God touched her and she experienced the Holy Spirit's fullness. She felt relieved of a heavy heart as a result of the crisis at home; God touched her parents' hearts and softened it. She prayed for her parents' fervently and now spends more time with her family. She went on to invite her friend from cell fellowship to her house for prayers.
The atmosphere in the house which was previously cold gradually warmed up because of God's presence. Over time, and seeing the drastic changes in their daughter, the parents also experienced God's touch and their relationship was restored as they both received Jesus as Lord and savior.
That is what happens when Holy Spirit dominates our life. We are no longer ourselves, but He resides in us and takes over our lives. The wounded heart is healed, the broken family is restored and the lost are saved. We are limited, but when the Holy Spirit works, no one and nothing can limit His power.
