The love story between Ruth and Boaz was the sweetest story ever in the Bible. It didn't only have a happy ending but also became the ancestor of the Savior. Those things happened because of Naomi's role. She was Ruth's mother in law from her late husband. If only Ruth hadn't loved Naomi as her own mother, she wouldn't have followed Naomi returned to Israel. If only Ruth hadn't listened to Naomi's advice, she wouldn't have married to Boaz and her life would not change for the better. Ruth's obedience to Naomi drew God's blessing into her marriage.
Besides our parents, we must have spiritual leaders whom God put to watch out for our souls (Hebrews 13: 17). Both parents and spiritual leaders have an important role in our life, including the terms of preparing marriage in Christ. One of the spiritual leader's roles in our life is guiding us to get confirmation whether we get God's approval for our decision to get married or not. Likewise, with our parents, we need their advice so that we won't take the wrong decision. Parents' approval will also draw blessing into our marriage.
When you are facing a problem in marriage's planning now, involve your spiritual leaders and parents. There must be a reason why God put you under their authority. Meet them as soon as possible and them to pray for you so that you'll have a blessed marriage and accomplish the divine purpose.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, While preparing for your marriage life, do not forget the advice of your SPIRITUAL LEADER and PARENTS' APPROVAL.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Kind Father, I thank You for the spiritual leaders and parents You have put in my life. Give me the wisdom to be able to understand every advice they give. Give an obedient heart if that advice is from You. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
