TODAY'S RHEMA John 14:6a Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.
One day, Irene met Patricia, her best friend since high school. They had not seen for a long time. She was surprised and glad about the happiness oozing out of Patricia, her husband and children because she had heard in the first place that Patricia was having serious domestic problems and was on the verge of a divorce. When they had lunch together, Irene could not help but wonder why all of a sudden things were so different, so she asked her best friend about it. Patricia smiled and told her the transformation occurred because she made God the head of her household. After doing that, many changes took place. God slowly changed her heart. She was no longer a wife who talked back to her husband. The bitterness and disappointment she harbored toward her husband slowly disappeared with the new affection. Her husband was no longer grumpy and rude, more attentive to the children and Patricia. They no longer blamed each other and tried to understand each other better. Their children grew into good and cheerful children. All because God was present in their home.
In the family, it is not enough just to meet the needs of body and soul. Although all that matters, meeting the spiritual needs of the family is ultimate. The new family life in the spirit dimension begins by presenting Jesus Christ to our family. Only in Him are salvation, joy, and restoration. His presence brings perfect love in the family.
Whoever we are, whether as wives, husbands, or children, we have a noble duty to introduce and bring our families to true salvation and happiness. It's not an easy task, but trust Him that when we do what God wants, He intervenes in all aspect of your life. Make sure your family and loved ones are assured of salvation not only on earth but also in heaven later.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, More than physical and mental needs, your family needs a new life in the DIMENSIONS of the Spirit found only in Jesus.
