A period of waiting can become a disconcerting moment. For young people, an example of that kind of moment is finding a spouse. There are many who being impatient while waiting on God went ahead to choose their "suitable" spouse. At the end of the day, they experience failed marriages and suffer its consequence. This is not God's will for His children. Be assured, God hears all your prayer about finding the right partner. However, He longs for you to have a bigger plan for your life rather than just limited to getting married. Your problem may be that you're not patient enough to seek God's will while you are in your waiting period.
God has a unique and specific plan for every marriage. Based on this, there is a common purpose that He will work out in your marriage. Isn't He the one that said to be fruitful and conquer the world? This command is not only to fill the earth but from you and your descendants, He will manifest His glory on the earth.
In order to accomplish God's purpose, you need to cooperate with Him as parents in training your children to become a generation that loves God above all else, a generation that will do great work for God and expand His Kingdom. It is the generation that brings positive impact and becomes a blessing wherever they are. God will use this generation as His arrow to accomplish His will. In order to make the arrow hit the target precisely, the archer definitely needs a strong arrow that will not be easily broken. Therefore, there will be many things that God will do in your "waiting period", and one of them is to character maturity. He desires to shape you so you become a strong and responsible figure to train your children according to God's will and way.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Through marriage, God raises divine generations that will execute His plan in the next chapter of life.
