TODAY'S RHEMA James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
You must have heard a lot of times the story about The rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31. But we won't discuss Lazarus went to heaven or the Rich Man who went to hell. Here, we will look at how the Rich Man asked Abraham to send Lazarus to his brothers and evangelize them. Maybe the Rich Man just realized that he abandoned the gospel when he was still alive. Abraham denied his wish because dead man was not allowed to meet the men who were still alive. In another word, It had been too late for them. Let's think a while, how would we feel if we were Lazarus and our brothers were the rich man's brothers? We must be really sad and hope that they'll join us in heaven.
Maybe, we are currently fighting for our family's salvation so that we can go together to church. Maybe we have tried everything but still, we have failed. Nevertheless, don't give up. It's not easy to evangelize in our family. There are challenges and if we rely on our strength, we won't succeed.
That's why we need wisdom from God to convince them. As long as we live, ask for His guidance. Humble ourselves under His feet and listen to Holy Spirit. Let God, who is the source of wisdom, teach us how to tell the love of God through our word and acts, day by day. God will open the way and work through us and one day they will receive Jesus and have a new life in Him.
