TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Acts 19: 11-20
TODAY'S RHEMA Acts 19: 15 "One day the evil spirit answered them," Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?"
As the kind Father, our Heavenly Father never really favors one over the other. No matter who we are and what we have done, He loves us with the perfect love. However, as the Wise-Great Commander, He differentiates His soldiers, who can be given more responsibility than others. The higher grade officer of the soldiers, the heavier the duty they get. To accomplish this hard responsibility, God gives authority accordance with the soldiers' grade. In the battle field, those who can use their authority wisely with such responsibility, they're not only respected by the lower grades but also feared by the enemies.
One of God's warriors who received such a big responsibility was Paul. Thus, God gave him more power than others and even miracle could happen without Paul's presence. By using handkerchief or apron that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left and evil spirits came out of them. It contrasts with the story of the sons of Sceva (a Jewish high priest). They exorcised in the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits but they were greatly ashamed. What is so different with Apostle Paul? When we study the Bible thoroughly, we'll find out Apostle Paul worked wholeheartedly for the Kingdom of God. He experienced suffering and hardship in the preaching of the Gospel. He was imprisoned with countless beating even nearly dead because of it. No wonder if God was a pleasure and greatly trusted him.
How about us? Have we been His mighty warrior? God has a great plan in His calling for us. God wants us to take part in revival He is working. Stop being an ordinary soldier. God wants us to increase our quality and capacity as His warrior. Don't let the devil fool you by making you uncertain with the plans God has for your life.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Being THE MIGHTY WARRIOR OF GOD and HAVING A STRONG SPIRIT so that evil WON'T FOOL you.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, You are my Great Commander. Lead me, so that I can grow to become Your strong soldier that You can use to do Your great plan for the world. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
