TODAY'S RHEMA
Colossians 1:16 "For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him."
Born without arms and legs almost made a man named Nick Vujicic commit suicide. Until one moment, he read a story about a blind man in the book of John. In the story, Jesus' disciples were asking God whether it was the man's sin or his parents' sin that caused his blindness. Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life." (John 9:3). The answer of Jesus touched Nick's heart. He realized on that moment that though he seemed incomplete at birth, it doesn't mean that he is not a complete in God. Indeed, God created him specially that the work of Him could be shown in Nick. Since that moment, he didn't set his focus on himself but on God.
Nick started his journey around the world to give motivation and to preach million people when he was 19 years old. Not only that. Nick has also become a writer, a musician, and also a founder of Life Without Limbs and AIA. He 100% realizes the limitation of himself yet he lets God use him as the hope messenger to many people having different life-background.
Every one of us is having our own weaknesses and disability. Maybe some of us is not good in communicating. The others may have disharmony family, or have timid heart remembering the past. Brethren, realize, that your life is not about you. Like it or not, your life is about God, about His plans and will. He has the reason behind creating the special you. He lets everything happens in your life and He does have purpose behind it. Open your heart and let God use you and your weakness to fulfill His plans. If you do so, you will see His greater glory shining in you.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, understand that OUR LIVES ARE NOT ABOUT US but ABOUT GOD and we will see His glory manifested wonderfully.
