TODAY'S RHEMA
1 Peter 5:8 "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."
An old Christian movie entitled "Invisible Enemies" tells a story of a young man who had a unique ability. He could see things in the spiritual realm. He was able to watch the spiritual warfare happening and the devil that was tempting human. It opened his eyes and made him know that spiritual realm is real and human has invisible enemies. Devil DOES EXIST and would never stop tempting children of God until they fall and lost. One interesting thing that we could learn from this movie is that: After this young man saw the work of the devil, he changed the way he lived in 180-degree turn.
Whether or not you are able to see, whether or not you realize it, whether or not you care about it, devil does EXIST AND KEEP TEMPTING YOU! He will work to intimidate you until you fall into sin, contaminate your way of thinking, keep your heart bitter, and the worst thing is dragging you out of the will of God. When you are hurting, realize that devil could take the chance to instill hatred in your heart towards the person who hurt you. God is good, God is love, God cares about you, but the Devil will always tell you lies about God. Everything the devil tell you are the opposite of what God tells you, for example, God is bad, God doesn't love you and so on. If you are not careful, you could eventually doubt the love of God. However, when you realized that you are in a warfare against the devil, you will not easily fall into the lie of the devil. The warfare has begun long time ago. The enemy is trying to steal the victory, future, peace and the promises God put for your life. Train your spiritual sensitivity and stay awake to know your real enemy. Soon, you will live your life differently.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, LIVING LIFE IN DIFFERENT WAY shows that you realize if you are in THE SPIRITUAL WARFARE.
APPLICATION
Are you still mistaken in handling problem and in fighting against the one who causes the trouble? Do you fight against your circumstance, others, God, even yourself, and not the devil?
How should you live your life when you are in the middle of spiritual warfare? Do it!
TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, thank you. I know You are the One who trains my hands to battle. Be the Commander in Chief for me. Please teach me to win over the problems and defeat the deceit of the enemy. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
