Life is extraordinarily unpredictable. Things happen just out of the blue and oftentimes it makes us live in worry and fear. Mary, the mother of Jesus, experienced this. She was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit in spite of she wasn't married to Joseph yet. The unpredictable case made her worry and fearful because it could fail her marriage with Joseph. Even more, according to the law of Jewish people, she was considered as adulterous and could be stoned. Nevertheless, disregarding everything she felt, she remained to stay faithful and obedient. She realized who she was before God and with her humble heart, she accepted God's will for her life. She was willing to be used by God to fulfil His great Divine plan upon the mankind. Her decision that night made God not only fill her life with tremendous blessing but also bestow His amazing grace upon the earth. Through the virgin Marry, uncountable people received the grace of Christmas which brings salvation.
