TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Psalm 118:1-29
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 118:5 "When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place."
One day, Mark Leopard was acting as a Santa Claus in a shopping center located in Wisconsin, United States of America. Suddenly a little boy and his grandmother came to him and asked Mark to visit a little girl named Sarah who was admitted in the hospital nearby. She suffered from an acute leukemia and had only a very short time to live. When Mark visited her as a Santa, Sarah was so happy. After a few moments chatting, Mark was moved to pray for Sarah. He asked God to heal Sarah, so the girl could play again with her friends and next year she could meet Mark again. Mark gave a precious gift to her, not a doll or toy that is usually given by Santa, but a hope in a sincere prayer to God. A year later, Mark was still doing the same job for a living, becoming Santa Claus during Christmas season. Then a little girl with long hair and red cheeks suddenly sat at his lap and greeted him, she said, "Santa, you met me in a hospital a year ago!" Mark was surprised, but then he cried and hugged her. He almost did not recognize Sarah, but in his heart he was very thankful to God to be able to see God's love that came down for the girl, as without God's love, she would never be as healthy as now.
Probably right now you are also experiencing a few or many obstables in your life. Maybe you are chased by deadlines in many things, such as a necessity for a marriage, obligation to pay your debt, your tuition or health problem that needs to be solved quickly. But, no matter what problem comes in your way, you should never forget about the existence of God's love in you life. God's hand that healed Sarah, can also help you too. Life pressures that you are facing, will be replaced by God's helps if you pray to Him sincerely to rescue you. What seems so impossible to human, can be very possible to God. No matter how big the problem you are facing, you can still remember that God's love is still bigger than that problem.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, in the midst of our endless STRUGGLES, know that THE DEPTH AND THE WIDTH OF GOD'S LOVE can GIVE US A RELIEF.

TODAY'S PRAYER "My Father in heaven, thank You for all those struggles that You permitted to happen in my life. I believe that only Your love is able to give me a relief in the midst of my struggles. In the name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
