TODAY'S RHEMA
Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end"
Behind a hidden tree branch, a caterpillar was trapped in its cocoon. Inside, parts of his body turned into liquid and were slowly reformed again to become new body parts. This process was very painful. He could not get out even though he wanted to. "How unfair!", he thought. Would he be there forever until he eventually died in the end? Alone and in an endless darkness? In the midst of despair and fatique, that caterpillar was trying to be patient. One more hour. One more day. Reaching to a point, his cocoon was not strong enough to keep him inside and finally broke out. He then slowly reached out. Then he realized, a pair of beautiful wings that had golden color was on his back. That was an event which was hard to believe. He was moving his new wings and started to fly high.
Does your life look like the caterpillar told in the illustration above? Many uncertainties are overwhelming your mind, and the common question is: "When will my prayer be answered? When will the breakthrough come? And with an age already so late, will there still be a chance to get a good career path?" There are so many things still holding us to make progress acting as our cocoon.
But you do not have to be afraid or worry about it. As long as you follow the Lord and do what you must do, soon or later, or probably very soon, the time will come for you to come out of your cocoon. Maybe right now you feel tired spiritually or intimidation wears you off. But, keep believing, praying, trying and being faithful. Your hope in His love will not disappoint you. And in reality God is ready to pour out His wide love for you. Everything that you are facing right now is truly the preparation to give you a pair of beautiful wings. And if the time comes, you can see that God's plan is very beautiful, perfect and great! You will not be able to say the other way around by the time you experience it!
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, when we have so LITTLE TIME, God will pour out HIS WIDE LOVE unto our life.
APPLICATION
Are those things that you are experiencing right now make you feel about giving up?
Devote time to think what God is doing in your life and why does He allow a condition where the answer of prayer seems so far away?
Remember the goodness and the love of God you are experiencing until today; and how do they strengthen you daily?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, thank You for Your love. Forgive me if I often forget the wide of your love is, the strong love that You have and Your faithfulness that You never leave me in any conditions. In Lord Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen."
