Zephaniah 3:14-18

TODAY'S RHEMA

Zephaniah 3:18 "I will remove from you all who mourn the loss of your appointed festivals, which is a burden and reproach for you."

Obviously, most of you know Prophet Moses. In his young age in the land of Egypt, Moses killed an Egyptian and then ran away to the Midian and became a shepherd for 40 years before God called him to be His prophet when he was 80 years old. Because of his past and the fact that he was a stutter, he turned down God's calling. God resented Moses for he turned down the calling He had prepared for him to lead the Israelites out of the slavery in Egypt. During the journey to the Egypt, with his wife and son, God planned to kill Moses. But after Zipora, Moses' wife circumcised their son and put the circumcised skin on Moses' leg and said, "Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me" then God let him go. This was the event that changes Moses' heart.

In this point, Moses realized that God wanted him to put his trust in Him completely, follow His law and covenant and also love Him. No space of the past and incapability as what he concerned about. Aaron spoke to Moses and the Divine wonders would have displayed God's power to the Israelites and Egyptians then.

Divine calling in Moses' life paints a picture of the calling in our lives as well. God's calling over our lives are unique, which means only calling especially for us. Circumcision of Moses' son symbolized our heart's circumcision. Circumcision of the heart means the shifting of our heart. A change of fearful heart, doubtful heart into a heart that trust and love God in whole different level.

Maybe you have terrible past and you feel that you don't have any capability so you are being doubtful to fulfill Divine calling in your life. However, remember that God has washed away all your past with His Holy blood. Remember that God is our provider, He provides and equip us so we can enter into His amazing plan. Just fix ourselves in His calling so God will split the sea of obstacles for us pass through

REFLECTION
Saudara Terkasih, when we STEP INTO the Divine position THEN ALL TROUBLES will be washed away by Him
