TODAY'S RHEMA
2 Kings 2:9 "When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, "Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?" "Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit," Elisha replied."
When Elisha made his request to Elijah, he did not ask for a single portion or half portion, but double portion of Elijah's spirit. Double portion means twice as much of anointing Elijah ever had. Elisha realized that after God took Elijah to heaven, he would be the prophet of Israel as Elijah's replacement. Elisha recognized his calling and God's plan for his life. He also realized that it was not an easy task for him to build God's kingdom and to do the mission. For those reasons, Elisha was not afraid to ask for double portion anointing. He did not instantly get what he asked for, but, eventually, he did really receive it. A double portion of anointing was granted to him when God took Elijah to heaven.
The story of Elisha tells us that when we ask for something from God, it must be accompanied with the right motives like Elisha did. He had great faith to serve God and he was given a double portion of anointing.
Right now, if you are still praying for a home, maybe you can start your prayer for a house so that you can hold a cell group in your own home. If you don't have a car, ask for a car to be an instrument to serve Him. If you maybe right now is sick, ask for healing so that you could serve Him/His work better. If your family is facing some problem, ask God to restore your family that your family could be a living testimony. See things in your life through faith. Keep your motivation positive in serving God. Dare yourself to request something big in your life. God bless.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, when we are not afraid to ask something big for the sake of God's kingdom expansion, God will be pleased and delighted.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Father, open my spiritual eyes so I can see Your spiritual plans for my life. Teach me to ask for something big that I can expand Your kingdom so Your will be done in my life and Your name is lifted high. In Jesus' name, pray. Amen."
