Isaiah 60: 1-22
TODAY'S RHEMA
Isaiah 60:1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you."
Research has proved that we can't live without light. When we are in the darkness, we will most likely to feel worried, emotional and lose self-control. If this condition is allowed continuously, we would likely suffer from paranoid and experience a hallucination. In the worst case, temptation for suicide might come across. Because to live in the darkness with no ray of light for a long period of time can cause the losing of hope.
It's probably felt by Israelites when they went up to Jerusalem from Babel. They had not fully recovered from traumas they experienced in captivity. What they had been through caused them to doubt the love of God. The capacity to see the plan of God was also disappeared. In time like this, through the Prophet Isaiah, God revealed the message of hope which enlightened their heart. God would arise The Light upon them. Their nation would be restored, and even the other nations shall come to the light of God through them.
The hardship of life oftentimes makes our surrounding seem dark. Our failure by failure splinters our left hope. However, God never allows you to stay in the darkness. When God adopts you as His children, He gives you not only His light to live in your heart but also a new identity. He labels you as the light of the world. Whoever you are, regardless of your failure and fault in the past, you are enabled to shine. You can shine in the darkness of the others' life. Thus, they can get the hope in the light of God through you. Therefore, arise from your worst conditions. God will do the great breakthrough. He will make restoration, victory and prepare blessing which brings the true joy to your lives. God, Himself, will do it soon, exactly in His perfect time.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, let us ARISE AND SHINE because the SEASON of BREAKTHROUGH is coming to us!

TODAY'S PRAYER "Dear God, thank You for reminding me about my identity in You, be light in the darkness. Let You put me in this world as the light that drives out the darkness in people's life around me so that Your name is glorified by many. In the name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
