TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Psalm 18:21-35
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 18:28 "You, Lord, keep my lamp burning, my God turns my darkness into light."
There was a climber who had climbed numerous mountains. One day, he was going to climb a mountain he's never climbed. The forest guard gave him the map with the bright yellow sign on it. After finished preparing all things he needed, he was ready to start his adventure. At the beginning, everything went well. But, halfway of his journey, he felt that there was something wrong with the map. It showed the wrong way. Since he was an expert mountain climber, he thought he knew the route and didn't need the map. Then, he took the track he considered as the right one. When the night came, he was still walking around on the same track. He realized he has taken the wrong track. He regretted his decision and opened the map. After a long time trying to find the right track, he finally reached his goal. This experience taught him one precious lesson; what he thought right was not 100% right.
There are many reasons which make us lose our purpose. Perhaps, you need to make a decision but you can't find any guides. You don't know which way you must take or where you must go. You end up taking the wrong way or finding yourself lost in nowhere. When you face this problem, do not rely on your own strength or knowledge. Remember that God really loves you, He will never let you get lost.
Remember His love and guidance for the people of Israel through the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire. God has provided you with His perfect love. If you cannot see His guidance, do not think that He does not love you or forget you. His love will let you have wisdom that guides you. He can guide you through His words, through the people He sends to you, or through the rhema you ever had. Receive His love so that you can see His guidance. Hallelujah!
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, GOD'S VAST LOVE gives us the wisdom to light up our dark life.
APPLICATION
Do you doubt God's love? Do you think God lets you lose the guidance?
Seek for His words which describe His enormous love for you. Use that words to destroy your own doubt about His guidance!
TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord, I thank You for your enormous love for me. Forgive me if I ever doubt Your love when I lose my way. I open my heart today, fill me with Your love so that I can see Your light and guidance for my life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
