TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
2 Corinthians 4:6-18
TODAY'S RHEMA
2 Corinthians 4:18 "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
There was a pregnant woman who was suffering from placenta previa (the placenta lies very low in the uterus, covering all or part of the cervix). It caused her bleeding for several times. She and her husband were so worried. They kept thinking about their baby and it made them suffer day by day. To keep the baby safe, the doctor suggested her to stay in a hospital for a month. However, it made her more stressful and worried because they had to pay more for the hospital fees. This condition just worsen her health condition until she had to have 9 blood packs transfusion to keep her alive.
Briefly, this couple realized that God lets those things happen to strengthen them and get them closer to Him. This couple eventually lost their baby but somehow they were like having a new strength. The couple prayed together in the morning and understood more on what God wanted in their life. God then restored the couple's condition. They felt miracles happen in their life. They also feel everything was restored even better than they had before. God gave a son for them, later. They realized that it was not because of their strength, power, and wealth. It was because they set their focus on the eternity and God.
We will feel God's grace if we stay focusing on Him, no matter what happens in our lives. We should know that God wants us to keep our eyes on the heavenly things and worry less about our problems. Thus, our life will be led into eternity. No matter what you have been through right now, seek God and get closer to Him.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, when we feel GOD'S GRACE, our focus will be changed FROM THE TRANSIENT INTO ETERNITY.
