On the Aimere hill, clove trees, candlenut, vanilla, and various other plants make green the hill. No one thought, decades earlier the region was a barren land and often bring disaster. The rain shower in the rainy season makes the soil structure becomes unstable and often takes lives. Thanks to Sebastian Tande cold hands, reforestation in the Kaligejo village, Nusa Tenggara Timur, was conducted. At first, he thought his efforts would be in vain, due to the difficulty of the terrain, and he was working by himself. However, he did not give up and managed to get people to participate. Sebastian's hard work has turned the barren land into a green forest, so he earned Kalpataru from the local government.
Our rhema today affirms the hard work of Sebastian Tande. He didn't allow the extent of the barren land, to defeat him. Sebastian rose to become a conqueror of the arid land. We may face "arid lands" in our lives—whether it's a problem at work, at home, at school, in the neighborhood, anywhere. Maybe we are tempted to give up because we feel helpless against it. However, let us not give up. God created each of us to be conquerors to win. How? It happens when the fullness of God is within us.
Because of sin, we will take pains in our work and survival. Yet, God has sent Jesus into the world to redeem us from our sin. When we believe in Jesus, His Spirit enters and dwelt within us. God's Spirit awakens our spirit and enables us to do all things. With God, we can face every challenge. With God, we create extraordinary things and glorious achievements. Believe in Him and have more desire to be the spiritual giants who continue to conquer our struggles and trials in this world. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, You can only fulfill THE GOD'S PURPOSE OF CREATION as CONQUEROR and WINNER if you FULL WITH GOD'S SPIRIT. APPLICATIONS 1.
