A minister was stationed in a megachurch somewhere. Arriving there he was amazed by the majestic architecture of the church building. The numerous ministers of God and full band choirs performed every Sunday, led him to assume the great quality of the ministry there. After a few months serving there, he began to find several cracks in the ministry. Many of the congregation were just a guest who comes once and that's all. They didn't stay for long. Many of the ministers were in disputes with each other. Other than that, there were hardly any movement or demonstrations of God's power shown in the church.
Long story short, he gathered every servant of that church and reminded them of how the early church lived in a powerful fellowship. After a long process, the church was healed. There were more members rooted in the church and miracles occurred.
What about our community today? Are our fellowships filled with the power of God, or is it not so? If there is more fighting, then ask the Lord for forgiveness, and ask that our fellowship may be healed. Ask that God gives the power to build a loving fellowship among brothers and sisters in Christ, and demonstrating His transforming power upon our hearts. Ask that we grow in Christ even more, that we will become spiritual giants. That we may be witness Christ in our community. TODAY'S PRAYER "Good Father, thank You for bringing me into a powerful fellowship with fellow believers in Christ. I long not for just a beautiful fellowship, but also a powerful one. In Jesus' name, I have prayed. Amen."
