TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Psalm 1:1-6

TODAY'S RHEMA
Psalm 1:2-3 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

"I am sorry, I have to finish this presentation for 2 PM meeting," Hanna said when her colleagues asked her out for lunch. After her friends left her desk, she took the bread she bought in morning and eat it fast. A month back, her superior was taking her and another colleague into consideration for a promotion and it depends on the work performance between both, who do better. From that moment on, not only lunch hour that she passed, every morning she skipped breakfast in order to arrive early in the office. She can only have a proper meal at night after hours of overtime work. That also possible only if she wasn't too tired. Often times she skipped meals and went straight to bed after hours of overtime work. At the end of the day, Hanna collapse in her work place and had to be carried to the ambulance to the hospital nearby. Not only poor health, but she has also lost the opportunity to be promoted.

It is inevitable, dietary habit defines the quality of our lives. Regardless of our skill, without a healthy body, we can't get to where we want to go. Our spiritual life is likewise. Oftentimes, we long to have spiritual breakthrough to happen or personal revival to happen but we overlook the need of our spiritual man.

We can't help it but feed our spiritual man regularly just like we feed ourselves with physical food in order to live a healthy life. What is the food for our spiritual man? It is the Word of God. We need to consume the Word of God day and night like today's rhema, "but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers." Therefore make sure that we have enough time every day to read the Word of God and to delight on it till it becomes rhema to us and rooting deep in our heart. When we grow in our knowledge of the Word of God, God will refresh our spiritual man and revive us to be great spiritual gigantic.
