TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL 1 Corinthians 4:17-20 TODAY'S RHEMA 1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
Prince Remy was a son of a king in a prosperous land. As a prince, he had the authority and power to rule. One day, Prince Remy went hunting and insisted to go alone because he was afraid that it may scare the animals if too many people were to come. Early in the morning, with very simple clothing, off he went his way to hunt. Arriving in the forest, just before he began to hunt, he fell off the cliff and was unconscious. He woke up the next day in an unfamiliar place. It turned out that he was captured by the villagers and was about to be enslaved. He resisted and said that he was the son of a king. When the villagers saw that he wore a ring that showed his princehood, they were petrified and let him go. Long story short, Prince Remy went home safely to the palace.
Likewise, we have been granted the gift of salvation and raised up to be children of the King. When we become children of the King of kings, we receive authority from the Highest. Every one of us can access that power, that whatever we say are not merely words, but power, which is all for the sole purpose of God.
Yes, we, like the apostles, can be God's medium for a miracle. By realizing that we have that authority, and believe that the Holy Spirit is in us, then we can access His power, after our change of heart. We will not be ordinary Christians, but powerful ones. A spiritual giant, whom God uses to do immeasurable deeds, all for the glory of God. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, SALVATION and POWER are obtained when you become a believer that is why Christianity IS ATTACHED to power. APPLICATIONS 1. Can you have a powerful life? Why? 2. Why do you need to access God's power? 3. What can you do to live in the fullness of God's power? Write them down! TODAY'S PRAYER "God, thank You for the gift of salvation that You have gifted us. I want to learn to use the God-given authority that I may serve Your Kingdom in the world. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
