Reno turned the fire on to cook rice in the pot. Later on, he went to do other things. After a while, he returned to the kitchen and found that the fire was already off. It turned out that the stove was already running out of gas. Cautiously, Reno opened the cover of the pot. The rice actually looked like well-cooked, and Reno was relieved at that time. But, at the dinner table when he and his brother were tucking into their plate, his brother vomited the rice as the rice were inedible. They were hard and half cooked. However because Rick insisting to eat the rice anyway and in the end, his stomach was aching from indigestion.
Many times, God's children also act like half-done rice. When our lives are touched by the Lord, our spirit was on fire to become great spiritual giants who do great things for the Kingdom of God with such authority. But, in the midst of the journey, the fire somehow runs out, caused by long sufferings or many life problems. In the end, we become nothing and lose our functions in the body of Christ.
No matter how our spiritual desire is, we need to remember that the secret or motivation which can make the spiritual giants reach their goals are actually their great desires to serve Him, to please Him, and to seek Him. Because these great desires will motivate us to pay the price to seek God's face, by giving time to sit on His feet, staying in God's presence, to pray, and to devote on God's words. By doing so, the Holy Spirit will continue to fill our lives with His great anointing. Our spiritual beings will grow great, from one level to another higher level, and we can finally receive victories by victories in our lives. Then we can become great blessings to many people and bring great spiritual revival wherever we go. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, BURNING DESIRES shall make you be WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE and then make me worthy to receive HIS GREAT ANOINTING. APPLICATIONS 1. TODAY'S PRAYER "Good Father God in Heaven, thank You for the burning desires You have put in my heart, so now I dare to pay the price and can receive a great anointing from You. Remind me to seek Your face, and to stay within Your presence at all times, so I can continuously carry the anointing that will bring victories followed by victories for my life. In the Name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
