Since her younger days, Kaylen had a dream to have a big and luxurious house to live with her future family. She always brought her dream in prayer. But stepping on the fifth year of the marriage, instead of living in a purchased house, she and her husband were moving from one place to another rented house. In the first two years of the marriage, she didn't give up. She had a belief that God would help her in time. In the third year, she started to doubt and had a thought that she asked for too much from God. She changed her prayer. She then prayed to God to give her any type of house, as long as not a rented house. And it's what she had been praying for in 3 years.
One day, when she read the Bible, she found a verse that made her realize what she'd been doing was wrong. She'd not think small of her dreams, instead, she had to grow in bigger faith. Kaylen learned to see by the eyes of faith the great promise of God for her life.
How many of us are experiencing the same as Kaylen? We keep the big vision in our hearts but it's not fulfilled soon, and without realizing it, actually, we begin to think small. Know that God has promised us wonderful things for our lives. Let's learn from Caleb in the Old Testament who was not young anymore, he was still waiting for the fulfillment of God's plan for his life (Joshua 14: 10-15). Do not expect the ordinary but expect impossible things to happen which will bless many people around us. For what is impossible for man is possible for God. He is the One who will accomplish all the works in our lives that our lives may bring glory to His name.
