God has greater plans beyond our imagination. Sometimes, we are deeply immersed in our personal problems, and all we see is ourselves. But as we grow spiritually, we begin to learn and understand His heart and the greatest concern of our Father in Heaven. God not only cares for us but also cares for people who have not known His love. When God gives us His Rhema about a Great Harvest, He is not only talking about our personal lives, but also his great work around the world.
But don't worry, even though His great plans and attention are beyond our lives, he still and always cares for each of us. God is not like a human leader who only demands things of us. When the Lord Jesus appointed 70 of His disciples to proclaim the good news to the lost sheep of Israel and instructed them to not bring purse or bag or sandals. This shows that wherever God sent them to, He would provide what they needed.
There is one thing we need to realize, God doesn't need us to get his plan done. The fact is, it is only by His grace we are included to be a part of His great work. Try to open your eyes. Look at God's fields around us, the field ready for harvest. Yes, now is the time for Indonesia. It's time for a great harvest throughout history. But, like the Lord Jesus said to his disciples, "the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few". If we love God, this is the time for us to rise up and to give back what we can for what He has done for us. Give the best of yourself to harvest for Him so that God's great work may be manifested marvelously in our family and also this nation.
REFLECTION Respond to God's call, because He is working towards the fulfillment of a great harvest.
APPLICATIONS 1. Have you ever felt the desire to reach out to people around you? Do you think that is God's calling? What is your response? 2. Why do you think God calls you to be part of His great plan? 3. What steps do you take so that great harvest really takes place around you? TODAY'S PRAYER "Father, I am so thankful for the great journey that You have revealed to me. I want to respond to Your calling and I will give the best of myself for you so that a great harvest of souls can take place in Indonesia. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
