TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL 1 JOHN 4:7-21
TODAY'S RHEMA 1 John 4:10 "This is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."
Vision has the ability to make someone keep moving forward. The Word of God said, if we do not have a vision, our lives will become undirected (Proverbs 29:18). In essence, with vision, we can set the steps to make it happen. As children of God, we must recognize what kind of vision God wants us to have. Because, even though we have a great vision, if the vision comes from our fleshly desire, often times it leads us to become ambitious people and when ambition rules our hearts, we most likely will do just anything to achieve what we are dreaming of without thinking of the consequences in the long run. Do you think this kind of vision pleases the heart of God?
Regardless of the vision, you may have now, do take a moment to ponder on the great work God has done in your life. Why do you think God sent His one and only begotten Son to die in our place? What motivated Jesus that He endured the cross? Yes, certainly we all know about it, Jesus was hung on the cross in our place because of His great love for us. Because God loves us, He also has a vision for us all to be saved from eternal death. The vision comes from the love He had for us. A vision of love. This is the kind of vision pleasing to God's heart.
Just like God had loved and saved us, He wants us to love and make ourselves available to be used as an instrument to save lost souls. No matter what our vision and dreams are, the core of the vision should be love. Let us be all out for God so that the work of our hands will become useful in expanding His Kingdom on earth. Remember that God is in search of reapers, for great harvest awaits those who love God, and love people with passion. Let our vision move us to become reapers this harvest season.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Seize the vision to LOVE GOD and LOVE PEOPLE WITH PASSION because VISION DETERMINES EVERYTHING.
