TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Proverbs 3:1-12
TODAY'S RHEMA Proverbs 3:3-4 "3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, 4 And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man."
In this life, we often see unfortunate people with their own circumstances- beggars on the street, homeless people, and so on. Most people would overlook them let alone lend a helping hand. How about us? What would our response be if we were surrounded by such unfortunate people? Do we just ignore them, do not care about them? Or, do we share some love with the unfortunate ones out there?
Sometimes God allows people with such circumstances to surround us so we can show them how much of God's love we possess. This is because love is always the standard of God. Without love, all our accomplishments, successes, greatness, talents, intelligence, position and wealth we have will be meaningless in God's eyes. Yes, it is love that makes our life meaningful, beneficial, and colorful. It is love that brings God's grace and favor in our lives.
One thing we need to be aware of is that our love for others is determined by how much we love God. When we love God wholeheartedly, we too will have a loving heart regardless of our wealth, position, or family background. We will have a great love for our neighbor; our spiritual families lost souls and those around us. Thereby making the slogan- "Love God, Love People with Passion" the vision that underlies our family vision, our personal vision for life, our business and all aspects of our lives. Allow God's great love to fill your life so that you can understand, experience, and give back to God by sharing His love with our neighbors.
