TODAY'S RHEMA Matthew 6:33 "But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Adi was an employee who worked for a private company. Just like any employee working in a company, Adi received his salary every month. Aside from the monthly salary, he also received some bonuses. Bonus for employees was designed to be different for each person, and the amount would vary according to their performances. Adi was very diligent, a man of discipline and determination. He always prioritized the company on top of his personal life. And after some time, his employer was really pleased with all he did for the company, and Adi received a great amount of bonus for his achievements. He was also given an official car for his transportation to and from the office. His career was very bright and at one time he was made to occupy an office among the highest in the company.
Indeed, if there exists a loyal employee who is very diligent in doing his work, of course, the employer will pay extra attention to that particular person and give all kinds of benefit as a reward for the loyalty. This is applicable to our Spiritual life. God will surely pay extra attention to us when we please Him.
Like it is written in Matthew 6:33, God is pleased when we, His children put His Kingdom first before our own personal life. If an earthly boss could reward their employee unsparingly for the hard work and dedication they have put in, how much more our Father in heaven? Will He not pour out His greatest blessing for us when we put Him first before anything else's? Therefore, let us put the Kingdom of God first, that we may please Him and move His heart to unsparingly open the floodgate of heaven.
REFLECTION If you DARE TO WORK FOR GOD and TO BUILD GOD'S KINGDOM, He will BUILD YOUR LIFE and your FUTURE.
APPLICATIONS 1. What does "seeking first the Kingdom of God and His truth" mean? Have you personally placed the Kingdom and His truth as a priority to other aspects of your life? 2. Why do you need to seek His Kingdom first? 3. What can you personally do for the work of God? Make an effort to write it out and devote some time to do this. TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord, teach me to make Your Kingdom as the first and the main priority in my life. I desire to focus on Your Kingdom, and not on other things. Because I know, You have prepared a bright future for me. Thank You, Father God. In the name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amin."
