Matthew 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
One day, Jesus was in Bethany, at the house of Simon of leper. Suddenly, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on His head. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. People watching it were indignant and objected, "Why this waste?" Normal for them to say that because it cost a year's wages. Moreover, every Israelite woman has to take care an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume which is broken on her wedding day. It means this woman who anointed Jesus, did not only give a very expensive offering but also her future for Jesus.
This woman did it because she truly loved Jesus. Her love and honor to Him enabled her to give the best thing she had. The love that made her different from other people in the house. She came to give, not to ask for something from Jesus. This is amazing. Her action showed a love and a special relationship.
If you want to grow in a relationship with God, learn to give. Do not come to Him only to ask for blessing. Start to learn to do simple thing: giving your best time to build an intimate relationship with Him every day. Meditate on His Word day and night. Give your time to serve Him and to win souls. Soon, you will feel the closer and more intimate relationship with Him. You will understand more what you could do for Him which pleases His heart. When you are growing in His love, believe that your life will get so close to the Source of Blessing, our Lord Jesus, and His favor will come to your life.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, THE MORE we sacrifice for God, the more our love GROWS and the DEEPER our relationship with God.

Please ponder, how is your relationship with God along these times?
According to you, what is the most precious thing that you have given to God?
Would you grow more in Him? If you would, what things will you give to God as an offering?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for Your love. Please teach me to have a heart that loves you more and more and to give the precious things only for You. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
