TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 127:2 "In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat - for he grants sleep to those he loves."
What we get in life always depend on our effort that we do every day. That is one of the world's principles. That is why, many people work as hard as they can, some even sacrifice their resting time and are willing to work until late at night. Some try to do many ways to get big clients for their businesses. Some put their children to best educational institutions, even though in doing this they have to go beyond their normal financial capability. Indeed, we have to work the best in everything, but let us remember that this life is not about us and our own efforts.
There was a time when the kingdom of Persia was at the top of the game, and within the kingdom, there lived a simple Jewish orphan named Esther. She became one of the chosen women from all areas of Persian territories to be brought into the king's palace. As queen candidates, those women selected were not just any usual women. Some of them came from royal heritage who have been trained during all their life how to live a life as a resident of a palace. Despite fierce competition from all queen candidates, only Esther who could steal king's heart. A woman originated from nowhere could finally be crowned up to become a queen of the most powerful nation in the world at that time. And in many days forward, when the Jewish nation was on the edge of destruction, Ester was quick to understand that it was the plan of God so she incidentally held the position of a queen. She then chose to become obedient to God's will, to position herself in danger, and to let herself to become God's tool to save her nation from extinction. Since that time, wherever and whenever the favor of God is discussed as the main topic, the name of Esther always becomes the example.
Yes, it is so true that the favor of God will lift us up from a meaningless place unto a place of victory, where we can finally understand His divine purpose for our life. As we now have understood that God wants to do certain duties through our lives, stop doing meaningless effort again every day. Chase His divine calling for your life, and He shall grant you His favor for every effort that we do.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, WITHOUT GOD'S FAVOR, our lives will become MEANINGLESS; but WITH GOD'S FAVOR, we will experience GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Oh God, please have mercy on me because during these times I have pressed on without clear purpose from You. Teach me to search Your will first in every step in my life. My desire, o God, is just to experience Your favor and to do great and miraculous things within Your great plan. In the name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
