TODAY'S RHEMA Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know"
Unanswered prayers and difficulties in life often make us doubt the power of prayer. However, when we don't understand what is happening in our lives, God invites us to seek His presence through prayer. He wants us to speak what is in our heart. Jeremiah did the same when he was imprisoned after telling the prophecy about the fall of Jerusalem at Babylon's hand. In his despair, God asked Jeremiah to seek for Him. God promises people who come to Him will get answers. He won't only answer but also reveal the unlimited grace in our lives.
Some of us might feel the same way as Jeremiah. All problems and difficulties put us in a trap and it's hard for us to find a way out. Be steadfast, even the situation tells us that our lives will be ruined. When people surround us do not support us, just cry out more to God. Keep praying even though the doors seem closed. Besides, stop asking God to help us out of the problems. Instead, ask Him to show His plans beyond difficult circumstances in our lives.
It's all about a response that God has been waiting. He wants to see whether problems draw us away from Him or take us closer to Him. He will find out whether we keep our faith steady and firm and rely on His power or we just depend on our own strength. Just believe that He is not God who just listens to all of our prayers because He will also overcome all problems we face in our lives. In the despair, we have to believe that God has a great plan in our lives.
