TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalm 73:24-28
TODAY'S RHEMA
Psalm 73:28 "But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds."
A father came back home and immediately sought her beloved little daughter. The father was calling her name and hoping her to run into his arms. But, the little girl was busy playing with her toys and didn't realize that her father was already home and was calling her. Then the father took something from his bag. It was a doll which her daughter desire to have! The father called her again and said that he brings something for her. When she saw the doll, she ran to her father and let her father hug her. The father was so happy. He put her little daughter on her lap, stroked her hair while she was playing the doll.
The little girl was joyful with the gift. She thought that her father was so good, to know what she desired and gave it to her. "I will tell my friends that my father loves me so much!" she said in her heart proudly. Her father was really enjoying the moment when he could see her happy face, stroked her hair and hug the jewel of his heart!
That's how our Father in Heaven acts! Giving presents to His children is an easy thing for Him. But more than that, do you realize that our Father is desiring to be close to us, His children, and to enjoy the togetherness? If you could know how deep the desire is, you will also know the purpose of God in pouring out His favor in your life. Honor His desire, know what is in His heart, and start to build a deep relationship with Him. Then, the great favor is ready to be poured out upon your life.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, God GRANTS HIS FAVOR to us in order to DEEPEN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.
