TODAY'S RHEMA
Romans 10:10 "For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
In the period of the Judges, Israelites were invaded by the Medians for 7 years before then they cried to God, asked for help and God chose Gideon to save the nation. At first, Gideon declined because he could not believe that God would be able to deliver them. He felt that God ignored the Israelites. Also, he looked down at himself as incapable and he had no any authorities because he was the youngest in his family also the smallest clan in Manasseh tribe.
Nevertheless, God repeatedly encouraged Him. His faith was ignited and started to believe what God said in His heart. Gideon eventually spoke to the Israelites, "Arise, for the Lord will be handing over the tent of Medians into your hands (Judges 7:15) the power of God was revealed, every bondage was broken, the enemy had been defeated and God had given victory and blessing upon the Israelites.
Our personal life may also be like Gideon, we are facing a difficult situation, whether financial, work, family, school, health and other things and we think that God has ignored us. Or maybe we think that the bad things happen in our life because of bad luck. If we feel that way, we should immediately remember God's promises and break every intimidation of devil and pray. God will never plan for bad things happen to us instead for our own good. God's plan is a plan of peace (Jeremiah 29:11) and our part is to believe and keep speaking up with our mouths that God's promises should be revealed in our lives.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, two KEYS to break the yoke of misfortunes is to BELIEVE IN HEART and CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTHS and do them both.
APPLICATION
Are you able to confess with your mouth that He's able to restore your burden? Why?
Why is it important to confess with your mouth? Is it just enough by believing in your heart?
What steps are you about to do to break the yoke of bad lucks?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, I believe You are able to help me in the middle of my burdens. Let my mouth always speak up Your promises in our life. Let the favor of God happen in my life. Thank you, Jesus, in Your name, I pray. Amen."
