TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalm 91: 1-16
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 91:15 "He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him."
Who wants to have misfortunes in his/her life? Absolutely no one wants, included Hannah. She was one of Elkanah's wife. God had closed her womb so that she became barren. Moreover, the other Elkanah's wife, Penninah used to provoke Hannah grievously to iritate her. However, Bible tells that God finally granted Hannah's petition and her life was changed.
Who was Hannah in God's sight so that God listened and granted her prayer? Hannah was a woman who had highly respect and faith to God. Eventhough God let her barren, she was neither angry nor upset. She didn't show a rebellious attitude, even in her heart SHE DIDN'T STOP PRAYING WHEN HER HEART WAS IN GREAT ANXIETY AND VEXATION. She called on God, bowed and worshiped Lord and poured out her feeling. With fully aware mind, she refused her misfortune condition and asked God to give her a child. Furthermore, Hannah instantly believed when Eli, who had an authority as a priest before God, stated her prayed had been answered and granted. Take a look at this! Because Hannah had chosen the right attitude, God's favor was poured out abundantly upon her life and miracle happened.
There are many bad conditions which only God's favor can change, for example: a very high debt that you cannot pay, fatal mistakes, husband or wife who's impposible to change, rebellious child or a longing to have a child like Hannah. If God let those things happen in your life, don't feel upset or angry. Have the right heart attitude and trust that it's the time for God's favor. We must know that God never lets His children experience misfortunes. God created you to have life and have everything abundantly. Thus, rise up in prayer! With fully brave and aware mind, refuse bad condition which is going on. Trust that what Hannah had received will also be yours. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Praise the Lord!
