TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalm 62:1-12
TODAY'S RHEMA
Psalm 62:7-8 "My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge."
It is an easy thing for us to trust in God when life seems good. We will feel our trust is challenged when problems come and hit us. Many of us then wonder, "Why does the good Father allow problems in my life?" King David, in his psalms, encouraged us to trust in God at all times; whether when we are enjoying life or when we are facing problems. Though we know that David had a very close relationship with the Lord, in his life, he didn't always win.
In every season in his life, when he was a shepherd, then became the servant of Saul, or when he was a king, he always lived in danger. However, David never failed to trust himself in the guidance of the Lord. He knew that the Lord he worshiped never abandoned him and was powerful to overcome everything. This attitude pleased God's heart and the Bible records that David was a man after God's own heart. Day by day, the relationship between him and God was built and grew. God's favor never left David's life that God established his kingdom under His control forever.
When we doubt, it feels so hard for us to see the good plan of God for our lives in the midst of our suffering. But, do not allow the doubt become a hinder to build an intimate relationship with God. Be like David, dare to believe that the love of God is much greater than problems we are facing. When we have this attitude, believing God in all situation, He will bring us into a deeper relationship. Little by little, He will reveal what is in His heart and we will know His purpose for our lives. Then, He will pour out His favor abundantly upon us.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, how much we trust GOD with our hearts determines our intimacy with God.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, please forgive me if I still often doubt You. I want to learn to trust You more. Bring me into a deeper and more intimate relationship with You. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
