TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Isaiah 48:12-19
TODAY'S RHEMA Isaiah 48:18 "If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea."
Rules are made to be broken. This saying is applied by people in this world. They tend to like doing things by their own way. They do not think first before they take action and do not think the consequences. Ironically, many believers treat the Word of God with the same way. They think that the instructions God gives to them limit their freedom. Some are also hard to do. When we want to get mad, God asks us to forgive and to love them. When we want to repay evil for evil, God asks us to do what is honorable. When there is great chance to gain good things through instant ways, God asks us to wait because He has His own way to bless us. Our logical thinking will consider God doesn't make sense at all.
As the children of God, we should know that God is preparing bright future for us. As a good Father, He plans the best for each of us. What He orders us to do is not to limit us but in His Word, there are instructions to receive His promises. Our obedience will be taking away the veil in our hearts that hinders us from knowing His heart. The more we walk in obedience, the more we are sensitive in receiving the rhema that leads our way.
When the favor of God comes, He will do it for us and what we need to do is taking steps of faith according to the wisdom He gives. God promises that if we obey Him, He will bring us into His wave of favor. Our lives will never get dry; the peace and happiness will be poured out upon us. And that moment, we will do great things with Him. Yes, the world may offer us the temporary happiness, but the promise of God will never fade away.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, learn to FLOW IN THE WAVE of God's favor, then we will experience GREAT THINGS WITH HIM.
