Mrs. Hani is a popular gudeg seller. Gudeg is a traditional dish made out of baby jackfruit and cooked in coconut milk. She is a humble person though people has acknowledged her gudeg as one of the most delicious gudeg in Jogjakarta. Before she moved to Jogja, she lived in a small suburban town with her parents who worked as farmer. Then, she got married and stayed with his husband in Jogja because he worked there.
After 10 years of their marriage, Mrs. Hani's husband passed away due to an ill and left her with their three little children. Since then, the family financial life was sagging. Mrs. Hani had to work harder to fulfill her children's needs. However, this condition became a turning point in her life. She had the skill to cook gudeg which she earned when she was young. She always helped her mother to prepare meal for the family. So, she started to cook and sell gudeg. She walked down the road and was not ashamed to be an itinerant gudeg seller. She kept doing her best to get more income.
Her 30 years hard works resulted in a great change in her family life. She now has a restaurant selling her delicious gudeg and not only that. Orders from other cities for delivery are the proof that her gudeg is well-known. Her strong determination finally could bring all her children to achieve success. One of her children now studies in America and gets a scholarship.
Many people only see one's success when s/he stands on the success peak. They haven't seen how the strong determination was built from zero. Let's learn from Mrs. Hani. Even though she has not a high education and ever experienced the worse condition, she was able to rise up, move forward and become successful.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, to change your life, building STRONG DETERMINATION is much more important than relying on the knowledge you have.

Develop your self-determination so that you could achieve your success and be a blessing to your beloved ones!
