2 Corinthians 4:18 "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

Born in Argentina in 1934, Luis Palau was raised according to Christ's teachings and examples. Since he was a child, his mother always told him stories about missionaries which gave deep impact on Luis' life vision. His dream did not come true easily because since the death of his father, Luis had to work for his mother and his five sisters to substitute his father's role. He took a job as a banker but his passion to serve God brought him unto an evangelism ministry nearby.

Luis Palau finally took a bold decision to leave his banker job when he was asked by a missionary from Overseas Crusade to serve in his ministry. His life chapter as a missionary soon began. Along with OC missionaries, he was doing street evangelism.

In 1965, Luis was trusted to serve in a big Presbyterian church for the first time. His ministry kept evolving by creating a counseling ministry through television cooperating with HCJB in Quito, Equador. During 1970 decade, his revival ministry that he created also developed steadily. His ministry with OC reached the peak in 1976 to 1978. In 1978 he finally resigned from OC and invented his own organization, named Luis Palau Evangelistic Team. Inspired by childhood stories and dreams, Luis Palau finally became one of the greatest evangelist in the world and had preached more to 3 million people in 40 countries.

Human has a tendency to surrender to certain situations and conditions rather than walking toward a clear vision. Fortunately, Luis Palau did not do this but he walked on to chase his life vision, otherwise, we will know him as a bank retiree. Let us learn to do the same thing that Luis did, because what you are doing and where you are right now are not the end of everything. When you can use your spiritual eyes, you will also grasp God's vision for your life and make a victory out of it.

"God , I believe that You are greater than any situations or conditions that I am facing right now. You are able to change and to heal my life. Help me to know and to reach a vision from You, o God, so that Your Name can be lifted up high through my life. Thank You, God. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
