TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Acts 8:26-40
TODAY'S RHEMA
Acts 8:39 "When they came out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing."
In this fast moving world, forbearance becomes a rare thing to have. Fast internet, smartphone, and technology make us get accustomed to obtain many things in fast way. Just one tap and we can get everything so fast and easily. Consequently, waiting is the process that we can no longer understand. What we expect must happen at that moment, in the way and time we want to. When things don't go the way we want to, we tend to look for other ways. Unintentionally, we easily give up.
Often, we also give up on waiting for God's answers and promises. When God doesn't open His door, we feel ignored. When our ministry doesn't bear fruit, we want to quit and give up on His calling. In the end, we look for other way. Sometimes, we forget that God has purpose for everything. Even in our waiting time, God uses it to process us. Even though we can't see or feel it, His Hands work to form our lives. He knows how to prepare us and how long it takes for us to reach His purpose.
God's time is not instant, yet it's perfect. When we get depressed, remember that God is above all. He is more than able to give us His divine acceleration. Just like God immediately carried Philip to other places not long after he baptized the Ethiopian eunuch; that's how God will bring us to our purposes.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, praise the Lord for we have God of divine acceleration.

TODAY'S PRAYER "O Lord, God, forgive me for I am not patient in waiting for You. I believe that You know the best thing for me more than I do. Father, teach me to be faithful in every process, to understand my life's calling and purpose that You have for me. Let Your will be done in my life. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen."
