TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Romans 8:24-30

Everyone wants to have their dreams come true. However, unfortunately for most people when they hit the bottom rock they would likely give up and take a step back. An author of best seller book of New York Times version, Lysa TerKeust, has told her failure experience. When she was still young, she sent her book proposal to the publishers with all faith of her big dream. But ironically, while her friends got a book contract, she received refusal letter. She was discouraged but she didn't let her failure defined her dream.
In the contrary, she allowed God to use her failure to process her heart. Meanwhile, she remained faithful by keep on writing. She made short story/ article for her church and little magazines. Unexpectedly, through one of her writings, she got an offer to write a book. Even until now, there are dozens of book which she wrote and published. In addition, she also led a ministry for woman, teaching an online bible study and helped them to achieve their dreams. She even had received multiple awards and became speaker to multiple conference and got invited to multiple TV shows. One of them is Oprah Winfrey Show. And that's how Lysa glorified God through her failure and successful.
Depends on the way we see, failure is not sign of our incapability. If we can deal with it wisely, the blocking stone would be turned into leaping stone.
Involve God in our dream, it's not for our matters but because the dream is His matter, He put the dream in our heart and surely He the one who knows how to reveal it. Trust that God is not standing still, He never forsake us. As life planner and dream knitter, He always works in every single failure that we pass through to bring goodness to us.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, DON'T GIVE UP; frequent failure is OPPORTUNITY GOD HAS GIVEN US for us to learn even more.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Heavenly Father, I thank you for you have remind me today that failure isn't an obstacle for me to reach to my dream and vision. Please open my heart that I can see your way in every failure I have to go through. I believe that you'd work in me to reveal your dream for our life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
