2 Corinthians 2:14 "But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere."
Have you ever imagined Garden of Eden, the garden which was provided by God for Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:8-9)? The Lord God made to spring up every tree that was pleasant to the sight of God and which fruits are good for food. It's certain that the garden was beautiful and very comfortable to live in.
Garden of Eden portrays the figure Kingdom of God. Each of us, the believers of Jesus, is like the planted tree of God in Garden of Eden. Like there are many various trees, so are we. There may be apple trees, oranges trees, mango trees, and etc. No matter what kind of the tree, God plants and grows them by Himself. Every tree grows to enrich the Garden of Eden. Every produced fruit must be pleasant the heart of God and glorify His name, Lord God, The Creator.
When we have vision and dream to be reached, do not be doubtful! No matter what vision and dream in our sight, they come from God. God speaks to us though man does not perceive it, in a dream and vision in the night (Job 33:14-15). This vision and dream will straighten our future whether we'll become a successful doctor, engineer, teacher, entrepreneur, pastor or housewife. As the tree in Garden of Eden, the believers of Jesus are appointed to expand His Kingdom and glorify His name through our vision and dream that God has put in our lives. When our vision and dream are reached, God's dreams in our lives are too. Keep praying and fighting for that dream and vision. Do not give up until God fulfills our vision and dream.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, no matter what DREAM God puts in our lives, the purpose is one which is to EXPAND THE KINGDOM OF GOD and TO GLORIFY HIS NAME.
APPLICATION
What are your dream and vision?
Have you asked for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to reach your dream and vision? If you haven't, do it!
What are the steps that the Holy Spirit whispers to you to reach your dream and vision? Do them continuously until God fulfills!
If your dream and vision have been fulfilled by God, don't forget to spread His greatness and kindness in your life!
TODAY'S PRAYER
"God, I give all honor, praise, and worship for You only who guide me in Your victorious way. I believe that You have dreams for my life. I ask for Your guidance and strength to reach that dream. I believe that You will fulfill every vision and dream that You have put in my life. In the name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen"
