Harlow Curtice began his career with General Motors as a bookkeeper's desk for the AC Spark Plug Company. At age 36, he became the executive vice president of GM. Harlow could achieve the peak of his success by contributing new ideas and making it into reality. He dared to design some new vary models. Moreover, he went around United State to give inspiration and motivation to car sellers and to instill the renewed enthusiasm of the new products of Buick from GM. The result was even though he experienced a hamper in the middle of his struggle, the selling increased four times fold! The division of Buick cars which he handled became the second profitable division in the history of GM.
Harlow had three keys to success. The first is setting up goals for himself and demanding the same thing to the people around him. The second is being proud to confront and to overcome the obstacles that blind his vision. The third is willing to do things that the losers are not willing to. The result: Winning is a habit!
There is price to be paid to achieve a victory. People who are not willing to pay the prices will never achieve it.
Do not take steps back just because you are not willing to pay the price that might snatch your comfort zone. Your reluctance will end with regret when you find yourself not making any progress. On the contrary, your sacrifice in paying the price plus the extra power from Holy Spirit will bring a great result when you achieve victory, success, and breakthrough in your life.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, we need THE EXTRA POWER FROM THE SPIRIT which enables us to be a pioneer.
