TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Ecclesiastes 3:1-11
TODAY'S RHEMA Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
Most people must have already known the story about a loyalty of a dog. The most impressed story is the story about Hachiko. Based on the true story, the story of Hacikho had happened a long time ago. Hacikho was born in 1923 in Prefecture Akita, Japan. Then, a 53-year professor named Hidesaburo Ueno took him as a pet. At the time Hacikho had grown up, he used to escort his master to the front door of Shibuya Station when Professor Ueno would commute for his daily routine. At the end of each day, Hacikho came again to the station to wait and fetch Professor Ueno. It's continued as a daily routine.
Attended meeting in campus, on 21st May 1925, Professor Ueno suddenly died. Hacikho didn't know that his master had died. Every day, for around the returning time of Professor Ueno, he sat and waited for his master in front of Shibuya Station's door. His body started to be thinner and untreated. Some of Professor Ueno's relatives fetched and took him but he always came again to Shibuya Station. For more than 9 years, Hacikho appeared in Shibuya Station at 3 pm. Unfortunately, those days were upset days because his master didn't return. Until a morning day on 8th March 1935, Hacikho, whose age was around 12 years, was found dead nearby Inary Bridge, Shibuya River. Hacikho had died but his loyalty to his master lasted to its death.
At the present time, the world is getting crowded with the competition, the story of Hacikho may become something to be thought about. Loyalty, respecting each other and sincere heart are seldom to be seen among men, in fact, it can be shown by animals around us. It's a proof that God is still patient to teach men through His creature to appreciate each other, hold in high loyalty and love neighbors sincerely.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Have a FAITHFUL heart TO WAIT in following the plan of God till the end, then God will also be FAITHFUL to FULFILL His plan for us.
