TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Ecclesiastes 3:1-15
TODAY'S RHEMA
Ecclesiastes 3:11a "He has made everything beautiful in its time."
Abram whose name turned unto Abraham, from "exalted father" to become "father of many nations", was a man who received a promise from God to become the father of many nations without knowing when or how. The story began when Abraham was 99 years old. God visited Abraham, with a promise that his descendants would be as numerous as the sands. Out of his descendants would rise kings and Canaan would become his and his descendant's heritage forever. About Abraham, apostle Paul wrote, "Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah's womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what he had promised." About Sarah, the writer of the book of Hebrew also stated, "And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because of she was considered by him faithful who had made the promise." Abraham should wait patiently. Finally, when Abraham was 100 years old and Sara was 90 years old, the promise of God was fulfilled and Isaac came to life. Everything was already prepared well during their waiting time and Abraham and Sara's faith was steady during that time.
Before doing big things in our life, instead of giving us a breakthrough, God often gives us time for us to grow, to study many things and to prepare ourselves in order to be able to embrace the breakthrough. During this time God will educate and train us to be faithful in little things. Even though your business is still small, your career is still at low level, your finance still needs improvement, God wants you to work on it and to take care of them wholeheartedly so when the time you are ready, God will grant you with bigger things to do.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, before God carries out His great plan in our lives, there will always be preparation time God permitted to mold us and teach us how to grow mature.

Have you prioritized God and prepared yourself as best as you can for a great breakthrough prepared by God?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, thank You for preparation time You give me to prepare me for a breakthrough in the future. Teach me to be faithful and to bring glory to You until the breakthrough becomes a reality in my life. Thank You, God. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
