TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Jonah 3:1-10
TODAY'S RHEMA
Jonah 3:5 "So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them."
God has waited for a long time for the repentance of the world. Calling for us to be "the light of the world" was not only heard after Jesus' ascended to heaven but also was given to Abraham which then called upon the Israelites. In the modern days, the calling has become the duty of every believer to call for the repentance of the people that they could turn from evil to Him.
We can see God's mercy in the story of Jonah of Nineveh. He refused to go to Nineveh to call for the repentance of people there, however, God wasn't thinking the same as Jonah, therefore, God made Jonah to not have any other choices but to respond to God's calling. When the people of Nineveh heard the news Jonah brought to them, they were terrified and the king commanded for every living thing to pray and fast and seek God. To see what the people of Nineveh did, God was touched and showed them His mercy.
Not only Nineveh that can have a tremendous spiritual transformation. God also wants the world to repent. It includes Indonesia. Do you love Indonesia? What do you want to happen in Indonesia for the most part? Whatever it is, there is always something you can do to bring Indonesia into repentance. Nineveh was united in one to seek God before transformation happened, the same thing, unity will bring God's power to work for repentance in Indonesia because He is the God who call us to be "The light of the world".
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, the action of fasting and seeking God will lead people to repentance.

How much do you want to see a spiritual movement to happen in Indonesia?
Have you prayed for it to happen?
What do you do to be able to touch God's heart to open people's heart and lead them to repentance?
TODAY'S PRAYER
"Our beloved Father, I long to see the rain of repentance to be poured upon Indonesia. Unite my and all the believer's hearts so that we have compassion for the nation. Help me to only do Your commands. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen."
